About Skarb Project
This project aims to develop interactive educational materials for Ukrainian history lessons in accordance with the official curricula of the New Ukrainian School (NUS) in Ukraine. All materials will be freely and openly accessible for schools, teachers, and educational institutions, with no usage limitations. The project also includes pilot implementation in selected Ukrainian communities.
The initiative supports modern education in Ukraine by providing teachers with innovative, engaging, and student-centered learning resources. These materials are designed to improve the quality and accessibility of education, which plays a key role in developing informed, responsible, and active citizens of Ukraine.
The project introduces innovative teaching approaches, including educational videos, multimedia content, and art-based learning methods. These tools are aimed at strengthening students’ critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and resilience, while making the learning process more interactive and effective. The approach helps students better understand historical processes, themselves, and the world around them.
A strong focus of the project is the development of ethical awareness, civic responsibility, and cultural identity. Through lessons dedicated to Ukrainian history, traditions, and culture, students also develop critical analysis skills and the ability to make informed ethical decisions. This contributes to building a new generation of socially responsible citizens in Ukraine.
All learning materials are adapted to modern conditions, ensuring flexibility for use in offline classrooms, online learning environments, and emergency educational settings, including shelters. This guarantees continuous access to quality education regardless of circumstances.
