More than 140 children attending the Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth Summer Camp came together for a special event dedicated to Ukrainian history, culture, and personal identity. Together with young journalist Mark Kos and the 33 Channel Kids team, the Hrystia Hranovska Foundation presented two of its educational and creative initiatives, designed to help children explore Ukraine and strengthen their sense of identity through engaging, contemporary learning formats.

During the Skarb session, participants watched an educational video about Prince Sviatoslav the Brave. The screening quickly turned into a lively discussion, with children asking thoughtful questions, sharing their own perspectives, and discovering new chapters of Ukrainian history.

As part of the Freedom Diaries art therapy workshop, children worked alongside the project’s Creative Director and artist, Mariia Proshkovska, to create their own “Suitcases of Freedom.” Through this creative activity, they reflected on their dreams, values, and sense of home.

The event concluded with a performance by the musical duo Sisters Mix, whose energetic songs have gained widespread popularity on social media and have already resonated with thousands of Ukrainians.
