The Hrystia Hranovska Family embarked on their philanthropic journey from the very beginning of their establishment. Even before the creation of the Foundation, the family supported various impactful projects that significantly influenced the development of Ukraine’s cultural landscape. Each initiative was driven by a desire to present Ukraine as a nation of grandeur, showcasing its rich cultural heritage and traditions while focusing on enhancing its cultural potential.

This aspiration—to reveal the magnificence of their homeland to Ukrainians—became the foundation of numerous initiatives supported by the family. These included the Kraina Mriy festival, the publication of a collection of Ukrainian game folklore, a unique exhibition at the NOMA Museum, and the annual Ukrainian Christmas reception. Each project shared a common goal, which ultimately evolved into the Mission of the Hrystia Hranovska Foundation.

Some of these pre-foundation projects have already become iconic parts of history, while others continue to shine on Ukraine’s cultural map. We have decided to present these projects retrospectively on this page to highlight the family’s longstanding tradition of supporting and promoting Ukrainian culture.

Interestingly, each project was characterised by a bold, creative, and exclusive approach, alongside meticulous implementation involving exceptional professionals. These principles have been seamlessly integrated into the Foundation’s activities, facilitating the development of high-quality, innovative initiatives.
